Solutions Architect (.NET core preferred) – Retail Banking Client -CI, CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps Swindon

Rate: £600 – £650 per day

Duration: 6 months extendible

1-day remote working

My client is looking to hire an exceptional Solutions Architect to join the mortgages team. This is a key role for shaping and delivering the strategic solution architecture for critical mortgages applications and digital journeys as a part of the Home Hub.

Experience required: Solutions Architect (.NET core preferred) – Retail Banking Client -CI, CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps Swindon

1) Strong and proven experience architecting complex/ enterprise level applications, designing and building core frameworks and solutions using .Net (.Net Core preferred). Ideally hands on with .net

2) Significant architecture and design experience of complex, enterprise-scale distributed applications

Must of Financial services experience

3) Applied knowledge of modern software delivery methods like EDA, DDD, BDD, TDD, CI and CD

Good experience of distributed architecture, OOAD, design patterns and best practices

Good knowledge of modern application development practices and emerging technologies such as Microservices, API management, web-scale and cloud-native architectures, DevOps engineering and application delivery, container based continuous delivery, cloud automation and everything-as-code practices

• Good understanding of application, infrastructure and component level security and data considerations
• Efficient and confident communicator who can engage senior enterprise architecture stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
• Ability to study and quickly learn and put into practice new methods, ways of working, tools and technologies
• Experience of facilitating software design and ideation sessions with strong and clear documentation skills
• Strong experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Visio
