Android developer

Android contract- London- £500-575.00 per day- Major fashion retailer

Our client is a major retailer looking for an Android developer to support of them on their next journey of enhancing their digital an online presence through innovation and become one of the leaders in the eCommerce market. In order to achieve this they need a best in class mobile app enabling their consumers to have a world class customer experience. You will also be working on new application features e.g. homepage, product range exploration, writing UR tests.

Essential Skills

• 5 years+ of Java/ Kotlin Android experience
• 6 years+ programming experience
• Experience with RxJava or RxKotlin
• Passion for quality and best practices
• Experience with Test-Driven Development
• Google Firebase SDK
• Extensive experience integrating with RESTful web service APIs
• Good understanding of visual design, UX and Material Design

Nice to Have

• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional/multi-skilled teams
• Continuous integration
• Animation
• Fashion/ eCommerce experience
