API Product Lead, Solution Architect, SAAS, Product Manager, Tech Lead

This organization is embarking on an exciting stage of growth, about to close series B funding, ready to scale and really grow out their product offering.

Think an innovative Product that allows customers to have access to an array of financial products, lending, SME finance, Merchant cash advance, to put it simply this company offers hundreds of thousands of accountants the opportunity to have an array of product and services at their fingertips, therefore empowering them to grow their own businesses.

TO be clear we don’t actually need people with fintech experience, it could be a plus though! What we need is people who are passionate about growing products and services, perhaps a mobile app or SAAS product. And more importantly, someone who has a technical background or a very strong understanding. You will initially be taking a lead on building out their API.

Responsibilities

• As API Product Lead you will be responsible for the design, product-market-fit, performance, and success of their APIs for both external and internal customers.
• Own our public APIs and their consumption by partners and customers
• Co-authoring and maintaining our developer portal and documentation
• Supporting API partner set-up, onboarding and implementation
• Develop relationships and conduct research with partners to inform a strategy
• Develop a strategic plan for API assets to meet the company objectives
• Conduct research at a value proposition level with partners
• API design processes and best practices e.g. OpenAPI, Swagger
• Work with architects and data scientists to create products
• Engage architecture and design where appropriate
• Create prioritised digital roadmaps based on research insight
