Salt are working with one of the UK’s most recognized household brands as they continue to better serve their customers by completely redefining the use of data across the business.

They are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own part of their new, inhouse built, data platform with a particular focus on solving problems for stakeholders across the Finance arm of the business. The product and insights taken from this new platform with have a significant impact on business and revenue targets whilst Providing the foundation of their new, cloud based, data platform.

The role requires exemplary stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate a complex and critical space for the business. As a Data Product Manager you’ll own the end to end data roadmap, working with a cross functional team of Engineers, data modelers, governance and adoption.

It will be imperative that you’re a Product Manager that understands financial data and can build credibility unliterally among senior stakeholders in the space, combining an excellent understanding of systems and data with some exposure to SAP/ERP proving vital.

You’ll be part of a Product Data team of 6 Product Managers, led by a Head of Data Product sitting within the Enterprise Data Tribe that impacts every business unit across this vast business. It’s a relatively flat structure, with bags of autonomy to impact your mission statement.

Here are some Key requirements:

• Exposure to and knowledge of SAP or ERP platforms.
• Strong literacy around data with the ability to find common ground with the technical colleagues you’ll be working with.
• Experience working on financial data products is vital if this person is to succeed in the role.
• The ability to navigate a complex network of stakeholders.
• Exposure to data governance within the financial data ecosystem will be hugely beneficial.
• Experience working within data in retail or ecommerce will be a big plus.
