Description

As the Product Manager, you will have a mandate for change and run of a large and complex product domain, driving product strategy, roadmap and execution for that by leading a team of talented Product Owners. The Planning team has accountability for the technology relating mainly, but not exclusively, to our Merchandising area. Capabilities included within Planning are Allocation and Replenishment, Planning and Forecasting, Store Inventory, Pricing including Promotions and Clearance, plus the Core Oracle Retail platform incorporating Purchase Ordering. The Senior Product Manager Planning will work very closely with the other Product Managers within the Commercials domain to ensure harmonisation and alignment of activities

The Ideal Candidates

• Experience of owning and managing senior business stakeholder relationships
• Product Management or IT Transformation Delivery at enterprise level, preferably in an agile at scale environment
• Be a passionate and visionary technologist able to inspire others to challenge and disrupt the current reality to co-create a compelling technology-orientated future business by

o being able to scan potential technologies (established, emerging and emergent)

o finding ways to translate that into business opportunities

o and most importantly of all, able to take people along with you, empowering new ways of working and successfully executing on those opportunities

• Possess knowledge and understanding of a retail business and the technology landscape, and how to maximise the value that products can and will add
• As we have multiple roles at different levels in this space, someone who can grow and lead a team for one of these roles would be desirable
