Agile Sprint Facilitator

Programme & Project Management Jobs

Greater London Contract / 6 months €450 - €500.00 per day

Agile Sprint Facilitator| 6 months | Fully remote (Germany based client) | 500 EU p/day

My client is a major global fashion brand, and is hiring for their most consumer-centric data-driven fashion trend prediction model. They have a unique operating model centered around agile data-driven 3D creation sprints.

  • Background to the assignment:
  • Due to the agile nature of the project, my client requires expertise to facilitate design sprints to generate meaningful 3D product & activation content. My client currently don’t have agile facilitation expertise within their team.

The contractor needs to have extensive experience with projects that require agile Agile Expert Facilitation services, therefore the contractor has a unique position and will provide significantly different services than the internal staff.

The services will be coordinated iteratively between the parties within the framework of sprint meetings and implemented independently by the contractor within the sprints following the sprint meetings.

The Contractor will check before each sprint meeting, based on its professional opinion/skills, which individual services it considers appropriate and feasible within the scope of its commissioning in the respective sprint.

The duration of the sprints is between 1 to 3 weeks (depending on complexity and size) with time in between spent facilitating Retros, documenting learnings and preparing for the next sprint.

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the contractor:

Plan the Rapid Creation Agile Sprint process

    ● Monitor and update the Global Rapid Creation Sprint calendar across all BUs

    ● Plan the daily sprint activities, roles & responsibilities using Miro Board, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams for the BUs

Facilitate the Rapid Creation Agile Sprint process:

    ● Professionally consult the BU to define the intention and objective of the sprint to the group

    ● Engage the team and consult them to understand who is responsible for what on which days

    ● Foster a data-driven sprint within the team to continue to refer back to the data insights throughout the creation phases.

    ● Professionally consult the creation teams on data-led decision making

    ● Drive the team to the common goal of delivering required information for:

    ○ the markets (via a digital sell-in tool)

    ○ factories (via a 3D Tech-pack Hand Over) ready for finalization and production

    ○ The contractor will do this based on their own expertise.

Iterate the Rapid Creation Agile Sprint process:

    ● Create a learning and iteration culture, where the improvements, pain points or experiments from each sprint are documented and shared with the Rapid Creation Lead. The Rapid Creation Lead will support the continuous improvement of the agile sprint process and digital capabilities.

    ● Implement the learnings in the next sprint via Sprint Retros by

    ○ iterating the sprint process to overcome previous pain points

    ○ providing feedback to the business analyst

    ○ consulting the creation teams to change their approach

  • Possible timelines to be kept
  • March

    ● Onboarding: reading through documentation, observing sprints & retros

    ● Preparing: for the SS23 creation season kick-off.

    ● Facilitating ‘Data Jam’ sessions to gather 360 data insights for the SS23 sprint themes.

    ● Planning: Gathering and driving comprehensive sprint plans for Q1 SS23.

    April – August

    ● Sprint Facilitation and agile coaching.

    ● Sprint Retros to continuously improve the sprint process and document requirements for the next sprint.

    ● Sprint Planning to consult all sprint teams that they are prepared and elements are complete in good time prior to the sprint kick-off.

    September

    ● Preparing: for the FW23 creation season kick-off.

    ● Facilitating ‘Data Jam’ sessions to gather 360 data insights for the FW23 sprint themes.

    ● Planning: Gathering and driving comprehensive sprint plans for Q3 FW23.

    ● Onboarding: new creation teams into Rapid Creation.
