We’re looking for an IT Business Partner to bridge the gap between our IT department and the rest of the business. You’ll be the voice of IT, ensuring our stakeholders understand how technology can help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become an expert on the company’s IT strategy and roadmap. Translate this knowledge into clear communication for different business areas, fostering informed decision-making.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across directorates. Actively listen to their needs and translate them into actionable IT requirements.
• Champion effective communication. Facilitate open discussions to ensure everyone understands current needs and future technology plans.
• Be a strategic partner. Identify key metrics to measure the success of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they deliver the anticipated benefits.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong relationship management skills. You can build trust, influence stakeholders, and foster long-term, strategic partnerships.
• A solid understanding of technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way.
• Experience as an IT Business Partner, preferably within an IT environment.
• Knowledge of business analysis, service management frameworks (like ITIL), and project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of digital transformation trends and technologies.
• Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Have worked in the transportation industry could be a benefit

In this role, you will have the autonomy to:

• Align business needs with IT strategy and frameworks.
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
• Determine capability and capacity requirements for IT projects.

We’ll support you in making decisions, but some will require approval, such as:

• Changes to the IT strategic direction.
• Recruitment and appointment of staff or contractors.
• Financial decisions exceeding your delegation.
• Procurement of goods.
