Payments Systems Business Analyst Job in Greater London | Salt Recruitment UK

Due a major business systems digital transformation my client requires a Senior Business analyst with experience working on projects related to finance and payments systems for a 1 year rolling contract

The Senior Business Analyst will be accountable and responsible for understanding the requirements, business needs, and operational context from stakeholders.

They will be responsible for working with one or more Product Owners, development teams, Solution Architects, Data Architects, Business Architects, and other key roles in eliciting, analysing, prioritising these business needs into concise business requirements.

Working across the Operating Businesses and with stakeholders, this role enables effective decision making and delivery across all stages of an initiative from Plan to Delivery.

Requirements

· 5 years + experience working specifically in the enhancement development and integration of payment and finance systems projects

· Experience of working with development teams using Agile systems such as Azure technologies (to manage, requirements, test plans and scripts and other Agile artefacts); Digital Whiteboards, e.g. Mural and Miro; other requirements management tools and software

· Strong understanding of financial systems and processes, including knowledge of payment processing standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT).

· Demonstrable experience in the development of a full Enterprise Resource Planning System e.g. SAP and working with Payment Provider Systems e.g. CyberSource

· Experience in PCI compliant payment solutions

· Detailing stakeholder requirements in a variety of formats, including user stories and acceptance criteria, story maps, user journeys

· Analysing processes for data migration, using a variety of techniques and tools such as gap analysis, data mapping, data modelling techniques and data migration tools.

· Analysing existing data sets to determine structure and purpose of data, in order to identify data gaps, data improvements

Excellent modelling skills to drive out business rules, aid collaboration and understanding including but not limited to:

· Process flow diagrams

· Use case diagrams
