Salt is currently hiring for our client in the Banking sector, for a IT Risk and Control Project leader.
Function description
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the project on behalf of the Sponsorship Committee, from project definition to project closure.
- Ensures the project produces the required products to the required quality level and within agreed time and budget. Performs change control, preventing unapproved scope deviations.
- Directs, motivates, and challenges the project team so that project expectations are met. Can act as a servant leader by removing impediments. Maximises team efficiency, continuously looking for ways to improve and accelerate project output.
- Manages project risks and issues, including the collection, evaluation, and planning of corrective and/or preventive actions, and monitoring and escalating risks and issues to the Programme Manager and Sponsorship Committee.
- Adheres to required project documentation and planning standards.
- Adopt the Agile way of working and adhere to the delivery methodology.
Required experience / knowledge
Mandatory:
- At least 7 years of experience in managing end to end IT functional of more than 2000 mandays (with a team coordination of at least 10 persons)
- Experience in working with internal and external contributors
- Hybrid profile: agile and waterfall expertise
- Understands the purpose of risk management in an IT context
- Excellent MS office and presentation skills
- Speak/write English fluently
Preferable:
- Familiar with the COBIT 2019 framework and ITIL V3+
- Understanding of core IT processes and if possible security topics such as ISO27002 and CIS top 20
- Familiarity with the Project Lifecycle / Agile methodology, has worked with Azure DevOps Server (TFS)
- Experience with operational excellence, process optimisation and risks & controls
