Service Architect

This is a pivotal role will see you collaborating with a wide variety of their colleagues across the Firm to continuously improve the solutions, processes, structures and governance that deliver the levels of service expected by the Firm and their clients.

The Service Architect will:

• Advise on options for the gaps they have in their requirements gaps (currently about 60 – 70% mature) across the following bidding Lots: core infrastructure (E.g. hosting, cloud services, edge compute, networks, storage etc); end user services, service desk, service management; corporate applications, finance apps, SAP
• Support packaging this up in to the contract in an effective manner
• Service Level Advisory – advising on optimised models in CPG (e.g. latest and greatest on incident responses etc), standardisation across the service towers, how SLAs will hang together in future
• How to bring innovation and incentivisation in to the contract and relevant models and frameworks that work (in CPG)
• Provide advice and guidance on governance and the retained organisation they could need, options and how best to proceed
• Provide advice and guidance on transition set up, evaluation of vendor proposals, vfm, challenging milestones, getting a good deal in this area

Essential Experience

• 10 years + in an advisory role designing service architectures
• Experience in CPG(consumer packaged goods ) or manufacturing environment
• Strong client facing experience
• vendor selection and management experience
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructures including hosting, cloud services, edge compute, networks, storage etc); end user services, service desk, service management; corporate applications, finance apps, SAP
