Technical Project Manager – Hospitality / Retail Client – Remote Working, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Poland etc

Duration: 1 year (programme is for 5 years)

Rate: £350 – £450 per day (Outside of IR35)

The Technical Project Manager will be engaged from inception to ensure engagements are successfully delivered on time, on budget, and highest levels of customer satisfaction.

About the Position

  • Use agile scrum methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
  • Create user stories, defect tickets, and initiate change management, phased delivery, or other methods to ensure on time delivery, within scope and budget
  • Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance
  • Collaborate with the engineering team leads to resolve project challenges and roadblocks
  • Lead the effort in relentless improvement; define and implement process efficiencies to increase the velocity and quality of the solution
  • Proactively identify and eliminate impediments
  • Lead meetings with senior management and stakeholders to discuss project status, key performance indicators for scope, schedule, quality, resource, and cost
  • Support requirements through analysis of customer documents such as, but not limited to, vision, scope, roadmap, user stories, and other artifacts
  • Monitor progress and key milestones. Identify, track, report, and mitigate project issues and risk.
  • Manage budget and cost-to-completion, and make decisions accordingly, provide improvements plans, and report on budget regularly
  • Manage, track, and report on percent complete, budget burn, burn down charts, project effort, and duration to complete and other key project metrics
  • Manage, track and report on team hours and costs on a weekly basis, including any contractors used on the project
  • Manage scope of work/requirements and explain implications of changes to scope and/or objectives, and work with customers on scope creep and additional costs

About You

  • Strong technical understanding of web and mobile applications/platforms
  • Ability to transform abstract ideas into a working proof of concept, to delivery on Production
  • Clearly communicate capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in understanding source data from various systems and platforms for data integration
  • High-energy, decisive, ability to motivate Ability to meet product launch schedules
  • Positive entrepreneurial attitude

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience and 2 years of Scrum Master experience, digital agency experience a plus
  • Demonstrate expertise in agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with SDLC
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects
  • Experience in financial management, such as budgets
  • Expertise in creating project plans with detailed work breakdown structure, etc
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent worker – proactive and can work without detailed supervision
  • Ambitious and willing to grow
  • Leadership skills, initiative, and good judgment
  • Enterprise experience coordinating operations of multiple technical environments
  • Ability to facilitate development and technical teams toward coordinated consensus

  • Previous Development or QA Engineer experience a plus
