My exciting new client is looking for Senior Manager Technology – Enterprise Architecture to act as Chief Architect of a platform governance team and will be responsible for the below

• Identify and abstract Digital capabilities needed based on high level services and use cases
• Create and articulate Business Architectures from high level business strategies and help create roadmaps
• Create Logical Architectures that includes Digital Experience components, API components, Data and Infrastructure components
• Create and Classify Data Models and Structures that will be produced and consumed by the aforementioned capabilities
• Quantify the high level System quality attributes and non-Functional requirements regarding security, compliance, latency etc.
• Create a Service Blueprint

Your Impact:

• Leads all technical solution design and development activities across the programme working with vendor solution architects and development teams
• Accountable for the solution architecture across the programme and ensuring development is in line with this
• Identify, progress and document key technical decisions
• Maintain technical design principles and development methodology ensuring compliance
• Coach and advise vendors on best practice
• Ensure solution designs across all vendors are complete and there are no Gaps represent technology in defect triage reviews
• “Review and approve solution design docs
• Review and approve all integration specs
• Review and audit code quality”
• Consult clients’ senior technical leaders on best practice points of view on Next Generation Platforms.
• Accumulate market know-how, industry and technology trends, to enhance and manage knowledge on projects.
• Ability to manage very large architectural systems with large development teams.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Should have 10 + years of experience in Consulting or Advisory engagements, working directly with clients to support the development of payments strategies, roadmaps and transformation programmes
• Strong exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices with background in solution architecture
• Ability to understand high level business strategies and business architectures to solutions and work packages
• Ability to lead and manage teams
• Create strong working relationships with client
• Experience in architecting systems with some of the listed technologies across the following areas:

Presentation Layer

• Mobile / Tablet applications on Android, iOS and native HTML5 on mobile
• MV* architectures such as AngularJS, React, Ember
• Domain Driven Design and Responsive Web Design

Business Services Layer

• High scale, highly transactional, high performance, highly available systems and robust applications
• REST and gRPC based services
• API Management and Documentation (Swagger.io, I/O Docs)
• Languages including Java, C#, Scala, Closure
• Continuous delivery and continuous integration

Data Services

• NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, KDB+, SAP Hana
• HazelCast, GigaSpaces, Hadoop 2.0, Spark, Splunk

Infrastructure

• Multi-tenant architectures deployed in the cloud
• Implementations on and migration to Cloud services including OCI, Azure, AWS.
