Backend Developer (.NET, C#) – Finance – Remote

Day rate: £500 – £750

Duration: 3 – 6 months

We’re looking for a Backend Developer to join our growing mobile app team. Backend means different things to different people, but we mean that you’re comfortable writing backend code in C#, you’re wanting to learn more about native app development, but that most importantly you are excited to try new technologies and different ways of working.

Some of our developers have computer science, mathematics or engineering degrees. If you have this, that’s excellent, but don’t worry if you don’t. What we really value is that you have demonstrated an ability to produce real working mobile app products, you’re passionate about software engineering and you have a good grasp of the technologies that you’ve used, and for those that you’re keen to learn, our healthy training budget awaits for courses, conferences, and certifications alike.

Our tech stack continues to evolve with industry best practice and the latest APIs.

• Hosting using AWS technologies such as CloudFront, S3, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS & DynamoDB
• Using tools such as Postman
• Unit Testing, in particular NSubstitute, XUnit & FluestAssertions

You’d be joining a delivery team who use Scrum and would be part of an organisation that focuses on agility at its core. You’ll find it easiest to understand the way we work if you’ve worked using Agile delivery methods in the past, but it’s not mandatory. We also have regular knowledge sharing sessions, hack days, team building days and so much more.
