Front End Engineer

We are partnered with a Global FinTech bank which is on a mission to make every kid good with money. With more than 1,000,000 users, they are now planning the next stage in our development. They place the power in the hands of young people, giving them the tools they need to master the financial ropes for themselves. They are looking for a Front-end Engineer to help out with their growth. They’ve got a small team and you’ll be helping to shape the future of an exciting, fast growing and dynamic application.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

* Develop our Angular / React based banking application

* Collaborate with the tech, marketing and product teams to create innovative web pages

* Develop AMP based marketing web-site for both our UK and US sites, including our blog

* Ensure site speed and performance is optimised

* Provide support with applying third party analytics and advertising tags

* Develop our in-house Angular based customer relation management system

* Working closely with the QA team to safely release ongoing development tasks

What they’re looking for:

* 2+ years of experience in developing and designing websites

* Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS

* Excellent knowledge of JavaScript frameworks with Typescript (Dart is a bonus)

* Practical experience with reactive programming (RxJS)

* Excellent knowledge of Responsive & Adaptive design and development

* Practical experience with JavaScript Libraries and MVC patterns

* Excellent knowledge/awareness of usability, accessibility, cross-browser issues and solutions

* Excellent in developing with REST APIs

* Good knowledge of Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)

* Knowledgeable with NodeJS, PHP, JAVA Back-End technologies and MySql
