IT Support Engineer

A fully remote role with occasional travel: Must be located in Germany

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a premier provider of cutting-edge software and cloud solutions.

Their overarching mission is to revolutionize the manner in which businesses strategize, manage, and source their cloud resources. What you can expect:

• You will respond to acute incidents in complex IT environments of our business customers in 2nd and 3rd-level support.

• You will independently engage with the customer, shepherding them through the resolution process. When necessary, you’ll liaise with product manufacturers and manage subsequent coordination efforts.

• Your work schedule offers flexibility, coordinated with your colleagues, spanning from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with on-call duty outside of these hours (typically not exceeding one week per month).

Requirements:

• Microsoft SQL Server (versions 2012 and above) encompassing standalone, clustering, and AlwaysON configurations.
• Microsoft Azure SQL, Windows Server

• In addition to the technical competencies, you should also exhibit the following soft skills:
• Customer-centric and solution-driven approach
• Passion for problem-solving and a knack for resolving issues

• Aptitude for swiftly grasping complex problems
• Familiarity with processes and procedures within matrix organizations
• Proficiency in spoken and written business-level German and English.
