Java Developer – AWS Cloud

Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a Java Developer has experience in Micro services, Java 8, TDD and AWS Cloud. Based in London, 6 month rolling contract paying up to £400 per day.

Essential skills and experience for the Java Developer with Java 8, Rest API and Spring boot.

• Sprint Boot, Spring Cloud Microservice development in AWS– minimum 3 years’ experience
• Experience building Serverless with AWS Lambdas
• Strong experience and knowledge of Event Driven and other Arch/Design patterns
• Experience with Test Driven Development – minimum 2 years’ experience
• Experience with caching mechanisms – Memcache, Redis, Ehcache
• Experience creating CI-CD pipeline with Circle CI, Ansible, Jenkins
• Python and Shell script experience would be expected, but based on the level of skill in other areas we could discount this
• Overall Java programming experience – 10+ years
• Strong communication and presentation skills (will involve interfacing with Enterprise Architects and IT Directors)
• This role would require the person to be able to create high-level architecture and also be able to code
