I’m recruiting for a Junior Java Engineer on behalf of a FinTech Startup who first launched in 2016, and due to their success were acquired last year by a huge corporate VC fund that invests in global early-stage startups, so they’re in a great position to dominate the market.
This business provides cutting edge ETF and index managed data service to trading desks, asset managers and enterprise data management groups – their data universe accounts for 95% of the market.
As a Junior Java Engineer you will be working alongside a super experienced team, including a hands on CTO with 20 years’ experience in this field, so is an excellent person to learn from.
You will be building enterprise grade software systems on top of the Java development stack – using Spring, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch etc), Jenkins – they are looking for Java Engineers who have 2+ years’ experience with AWS/cloud services.
Any experience with financial data is a bonus.
For this Junior Java Engineer role they are paying between £50,000 to £60,000 + bonus. They have a hybrid working model, with the team working 2 days per week in London.
