Job Description

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join their team. In this position you will see yourself working with a motivated team, improving the performance and streamlining the existing codebase as well as working on new products to assist in the core business. You will have the chance to work with machine learning and data analysis to build unique insights for the business.

Skills and experience

Essential:

* 2+ years’ experience developing with Python
* 1+ years’ experience with Django preferably with MySQL
* Experience in version control systems, ideally Git
* Strong knowledge of various Python Libraries, API’s and toolkits
* Deep understanding of how to write maintainable code and the importance of testing

Desirable:
* Celery
* Knowledge of RESTful web service development
* Front end experience including JQuery
* Selenium or similar tools
* Knowledge of python data analysis tools such as Pandas
* Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins
* Puppet
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
