We’ve partnered with an exciting business that is looking for a product-focused Lead Java Developer to join their dynamic team and work on business-critical projects, creating and bringing simulations to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead in the architectural design for software projects to plan and design the code structure and algorithms.

• Simulation Models: Engage in the creation of simulation models and transform simulations into functional realities.
• Expertise: Utilize your advanced skills in Java and Java Swing to develop robust software solutions.
• and Bash Scripting: Apply your knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting to enhance and streamline development processes.
• Ownership: Take independent ownership of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Solving: Approach problems from a user perspective, crafting solutions that address real-world issues.
• Development Lifecycle: Demonstrate a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Solid experience in Java and Java Swing development.
• Experience with Linux environments and Bash scripting is a plus.
• Experience to work independently in a lean environment
• Experience leading a team of hybrid/remote developers
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid problem-solving skills with a user-centric approach to development.
• Solid communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
