My client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help work building their new Chromium ​ based desktop browser. Their current team is making great progress with the core components and Windows app, however need specialist development knowledge bundling the app for distribution on Mac.

Other areas of knowledge needed:

• Automated build pipeline
• Auto-update mechanism for the application

The client

My client enables people to control and earn from their data, passively. Their first product was a browser extension that has more than 90,000 registered users and is growing fast. Their next product is building our new Chromium based desktop browser.

My client are on track for exceptional growth over the next 12 months and are looking for a freelancer, who can join us to immediately work on this project over the coming 4-8 weeks. With the potential for an ongoing relationship afterwards.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for creating a brand new fork of the popular open source Chromium browser. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to make a big impact in a short amount of time to a rapidly growing business on a greenfield project.

Working closely with the existing engineering team, you’ll be iterating rapidly to deliver the core features of a new product to our customers.
