Software Engineering
Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement with a financial sector client of ours who is looking for a Python Developer.
This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 6 months initially with a rate negotiable between £425-£525. It would be a hybrid role with 2/3 days expected in office, based in Central London.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience: 3+ years of full stack web development experience.
* Proficiency in Python: Strong experience in developing applications using Python.
* API Design & Development: Proven ability to design, develop, and document RESTful APIs.
* Data Processing Libraries: Proficiency in one or more Python data libraries: Pandas, DuckDB, or Polars.
* Frontend Skills: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
* Database Experience: Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
* Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
* Deployment & DevOps: Knowledge of deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
