Senior Android Developer

Global leading Client is currently recruiting for an Android Developer who has hands on experience with Kotlin, designing and developing android systems, and ability to provide architecture inputs. Based in London, 6 month Rolling contract paying up to £700 per day.

Experience and skills needed for an Android Developer, Android Architect, Kotlin specialist, Kotlin Developer.

• Android Development and design experience. Ability to review developer code. Design and develop Android system with providing architectural inputs.
• Solid experience in Mobile Engineering
• Hands on experience on using Kotlin to develop Android App
• 8+ years of experience as a Senior developer on the Android platform and competency with industry-standard libraries
• Should have a good eye for design, should be able to implement latest Material Design components and animations
• familiar with third party lib integration
• Very good with UI and Core Architectural Design patterns
• Solid experience in writing Unit Tests and UI tests, must be familiar with Junit, Mockito and Espresso
• Experience with source code versioning tools, specifically GitHub
• Familiar with security concept and integration
• Knowledge of agile methodology.
• Knowledge of MVVM and clean architecture.
• Knowledge of retrofit for API integration.
• Knowledge and hands on for CI/CD, Devops

6 month rolling contract paying up to £700 per day.
