Senior Backend Developer

We are currently partnered with a Local Government agency in Central London who are now looking for a Backend Developer to join their team on a 2-year contract as part of a large-scale Revenue Collection program of work they are undertaking.

The role is INSIDE IR35 & paying up to a maximum of £500 per day DOE. The ideal candidate will have worked on large-scale projects before and ideally within the Public Sector. You will also be expected to be in my clients offices 2-days a week with offices in Greenwich, London.

Required Skills

Expert agile practices with proven experience

Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools

Expert in the following Technical Skills

• C# .Net, C# .Net Core
• TDD, Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques
• Git version control

Expert knowledge in Azure technologies (including but not limited to) :

• API Manager, Active Directory
• Functions, Service Bus
• SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage
• Azure DevOps
• App Insights
• Azure DevOps including Pipelines and Bicep

Demonstrable experience of

• Working on high-volume back office transactional systems
• Payment processing systems, including card payment workflows, authorization, and settlement processes
• Working with Direct Debit mechanisms and recurring payments
