Job Title: Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for our cutting-edge products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
• Lead and manage the electronic design process from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping of electronic circuits.
• Conduct thorough testing and verification of electronic designs, ensuring functionality and performance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the design and development process.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring seamless integration of electronic components and timely delivery of prototypes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in electronic design.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Electronic Design Engineer, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in electronic circuit design, analog and digital systems, and PCB layout.
• Proficiency in using electronic design tools such as Altium, Cadence, or similar software.
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in electronic design and manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Prior experience in product development and a demonstrated track record of successful electronic design projects.
