Senior Software Engineer – .Net, ASP,net, c#

Senior .net Engineer – C#, ASP.net, HTML, Unit Testing – London – £55,000 – £60,000

My Client is looking for a versatile Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a fun technology driven team building large-scale distributed e-commerce platform.

As a Senior Engineer in our team you will be leading a small squad that will be responsible for entire lifecycle of the product from design to delivery and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Working with Business to understand requirements
• Working with senior team members to architect solutions
• Delivery of software using DevOps mentality
• Prioritisation of project scope/incidents
• Monitoring solutions in production
• Mentoring junior members

What we need

• Good communication skills.
• .NET C# (C# 7 preferred)
• ASP.NET MVC.
• SQL server.
• JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Unit testing.
• Knowledge of source control system, ideally GIT.
• Agile development process experience – Kanban or SCRUM
• Experience of a dependency injection frameworks.
• DevOps mentality – experience with CI/CD setups
• Architectural level of technical experience
• Experience with message-driven systems
• Experience with JS frameworks – React preferred

Nice to haves

• Experience in highly transactional retail web sites and understanding concurrency issues
• Automated testing – Specflow/Selenium preferred.
• Cloud experience – Azure preferred.
• Search engines, Elastic search, Endeca or similar
• Other coding/scripting languages – Java, Powershell or similar
• Metrics driven mentality
• Experience with distributed systems
