I am working with a thriving start-up based in Manchester who are leading the charge in shaping cutting-edge solutions. This role Embraces the perfect blend of leadership and technical innovation, with the flexibility of onsite presence once a week.
Position Overview:
As a Java Tech Lead in the FX space, you will be at the forefront of our start-up’s growth, driving technical excellence and innovation. Collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to developing groundbreaking solutions in the fast-paced world of Foreign Exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Architect and develop robust, scalable, high-performance FX applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, bringing innovative technologies to enhance our technical capabilities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality code through code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Java Tech Lead, preferably within the FX or financial services domain.
- Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of developers.
- Experience in architecting and developing scalable applications.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This role is Manchester-based, and the team work onsite once a week; the salary is DOE but is up to £120,000 plus stock options.
