Our client is urgently seeking a Level 2/3 Network Engineer to provide operational support for escalated tickets.
The successful candidate must have an outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
Required technologies:
- Experience of providing operational support for critical incidents and requests, would be required to lead troubleshooting calls for the Network space.
- Experience working projects: determining tasks and effort required from Initiation, Deployment, through to Closure.
- Experience with network refresh projects, Design, bill of material creation, hands on replacement of routing and switching equipment. Being able to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Experience with WiFi design, deployment, and troubleshooting, knowledge of Prime and Ekahau preferred but not essential.
- Experience with Cisco Call manager preferred but not essential.
- IP addressing design.
- L2/ CCNP- strong route/switch.
- Experience with large scale IP address design.
- Experience with routing design and best practices.
- Experience with BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with DMVPN overlay technologies.
- Experience with L3 MPLS VPN.
- Experience of enterprise data center operations (i.e. not just networks, but Windows technology, such as AD, DHCP, and DNS).
- Experience with ITIL v3; Change Management, Incident Management, Problem management.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
