My client is a leading online Beauty and cosmetics retailer based in London, they are seeking someone to take ownership of the QA Department an implement Automation testing

Key Responsibilities

• Strong Automation programming with Leadership experience
• Has set best practices and standards
• Has managed / coached developer and other QAs in best practices and standards
• Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
• The ability to develop complex code (ideally in JavaScript)
• Good knowledge of HTTP, Caching and RESTful API design
• Testing micro service based architecture with REST or web socket interfaces
• Good knowledge of Devops products and services
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• You have built deployment pipeline’s using tools like travisCi or similar
• Experience working with different messaging systems
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mocha, TestNG
• Experience with Gatling or JMeter
• Experience of investigating root causes of performance issues and providing corrective actions – either individually or in conjunction with the development team
• Experience in Developing, Executing & Maintaining Test Cases in the Cloud based Test Management Tools like JIRA, Zephyr
• Extensive experience of Automation Test tooling and processes – such as Selenium, Cucumber, postman, newman
• Good Knowledge of Swagger/ReDoc/Maven/Gradle
• Experience developing API tests by using (Rest assured, Unirest..)
• Were committed here, with great team ownership and look for a likeminded, highly driven, self-motivated individual capable of working independently and working with teams to achieve the delivery of high quality software
• Experience writing queries against SQL databases
• Experience of with applications deployed to AWS
