QA Engineer

My client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team and ensure the quality and stability of new features as they scale their product, solve customer problems, and grow their customer base.

Job requirements

• You are a QA Engineer with experience in early-stage startups.
• You have experience testing applications built with their tech stack: Typescript, Node, React, Postgres, and GraphQL. Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks is a plus.
• You are proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• You are capable of working independently to define test strategies and execute test plans, as well as collaborating effectively within a team.
• You are used to working remotely and managing your workload and motivation in a flexible environment.
• You are based in Belgium, happy to come to their Ghent office on occasion, and looking for a permanent position.
• You are passionate about ensuring high-quality software and want to be part of their mission to build something that makes a real difference to their clients.

Job responsibilities

• You will be primarily responsible for testing new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet quality standards and user requirements.
• You will collaborate closely with their product, development, and design teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on potential issues.
• You will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• You will identify, document, and track defects using their issue tracking system.
• You will contribute to the development and maintenance of their automated testing framework.
• You will work remotely with access to their office in Ghent.
