IT Support Specialist – Fresher position

Currently working with a well established service provider who is looking to recruit graduates or individuals with a relevant diploma or IT degree!

Job Responsibilities:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers. This includes resolving system-related issues, both through voice calls and in-person interactions.

• Following established procedures to receive and handle service requests.
• Efficiently allocating calls to appropriate personnel.
• Maintaining accurate incident and service request logs, classifying and cataloging them for future reference.
• Interpreting user problems, identifying solutions, and assessing potential side effects.
• Escalating complex or unresolved incidents as necessary.
• Recording and tracking issues from start to finish.
• Maintaining records and keeping users informed about the process while communicating actions taken to relevant parties.

Skills & Requirements:

• Ideally you will have 6 months – 1 years experience working in an IT environment, preferably in IT helpdesk or service desk roles.
• University degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
