Intermediate Java Engineer | Remote

We’re looking for an intermediate level Java Developer who’d be interested in working remotely for a company with great reach across our continent on their bouquet of products that are integral to their sector. Role is remote and a 1 year contract.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Develop high-quality, efficient, and reliable Java code using J2EE, Spring, CAMEL, and more

✅ Design and maintain SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)

✅ Deploy, install, and configure software releases

✅ Use Git for version control and collaborate with the development team

✅ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications

✅ Conduct and document integration testing using Postman and other tools

✅ Work with Docker & Kubernetes for containerized deployments

✅ Utilize Linux & Bash scripting for system management

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 5+ years of development experience

🔹 Strong Java skills with J2EE, Spring, and RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ

🔹 SQL expertise and understanding of database management

🔹 Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

🔹 Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web technologies

🔹 Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

🔹 Ability to work under pressure and handle business-critical projects

🔹 Strong communication and teamwork skills
