Senior Fullstack Developer

Salt has partnered with one of South Africa’s Leading Businesses, looking to fill the position of a Senior Fullstack Engineer within their Digital IT Department.
The candidate will work in cross functional team composed of architects, developers, customer journey experts and engineering teams.
Some duties include but are not limited to analysis, design, development, testing, documentation of the new and existing integration services; stress and security validations to ensure integrity of the web services; maintenance and fault management.
Back End requirements:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages used for backend development, such as Java, Python or Node.js
- Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and web services using frameworks like Spring Boot (Java), Flask (Python), Express.js (Node.js), or Ruby on Rails (Ruby).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Front End requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js is beneficial.
- Knowledge of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles and familiarity with design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD is beneficial.
- Strong experience in using frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
