Financial Analyst

My client, a globally established FMCG giant is in search of a Financial Analyst for an immediate starting, circa 5 month contract position. In this hybrid (London HQ) operating role, you will effectively partner with key stakeholders across their Revenue, Commercial and Growth teams, effectively delivering their performance management, pricing and investment analysis tasks.

Key Role Requirements:

• Assisting in the budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
• Develop financial models to support planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct research and reporting on factors influencing business performance, aggregating and interpreting financial data
• Analyse current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement and to identify business growth opportunities for the team
• Interpreting complex data with a view to predicting future trends, have the ability to present this back to the various teams and effectively motivating the delivery against targeted recommendations for improvement
• Ability to analyse financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Building on financial performance through the analysis of financial results and trends and support the future strategic planning and forecasting processes.

Key Skills Required:

• Min 5 years experience in finance analytics/modelling focused role or similar
• Ideally hold previous experience within the FMCG/CPG market
• Ability to build genuine relationships and deliver successful management of senior stakeholders, resulting in strong and positive outcomes
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment
• Possess strong commercial and numerical acumen with attention to detail
• Demonstrate you have mastered the basics in Financial Analysis.
