We are seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to join our team and support the rebuild of a secure, scalable, and modular digital platform. This role focuses on developing robust .NET Core microservices, integrating enterprise systems via MuleSoft, and managing secure, high-performance data interactions with Oracle databases, all within a Kubernetes-based infrastructure supported by automated CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core / .NET 6+ microservices enabling scalable, independent deployments.
- Build and integrate secure RESTful APIs using Kong API Management, ensuring compliance with enterprise integration standards.
- Implement efficient data access layers and PL/SQL procedures for Oracle databases, ensuring performance, integrity, and consistency.
- Develop workflows and business processes using an enterprise process automation / BPM platform.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage services within an on-premise Kubernetes environment, including service discovery and load balancing.
- Apply security best practices across all services, including JWT-based authentication, HTTPS, encryption, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Participate in Agile delivery, including sprint planning, code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for APIs, services, and database schemas.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in .NET Core / .NET 6+ backend development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, Kong API Management, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven experience with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in on-premise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of secure API development, including JWT, encryption, token validation, and RBAC.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Prior experience supporting large, complex government organizations is highly desirable.
- Experience within real estate or property services is a plus.
