This Global Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to the group of companies that are ultimately owned by or associated with Salt Solutions Group Limited (company no. 06912468) of 9 Wooton Street, London SE1 8TG United Kingdom trading under the Salt brand (“Salt”).

  • Workforce Strategy & Talent Solutions: Advisory services focused on workforce planning, talent development, and future-proofing organisations.

How this Policy could apply to you

Salt operates globally through affiliated entities and works with clients to deliver the best solutions. This Policy covers how Salt processes your data when we act as the data controller – that is, when we decide how and why your data is used for our business purposes.

Sometimes, Salt acts as a data processor on behalf of clients. In those cases, we handle your personal data according to our clients’ instructions and their policies. We recommend reviewing your client’s privacy policy if you want to understand how your data is managed in these situations.

  • Salt acts as a controller when processing your data for Recruitment, Project, and Advisory Services. If we share your data with clients during recruitment, they may also be controllers and may ask for additional information.
  • If Salt directly engages you for a temporary assignment, we are the data controller.

What information do we collect?

To deliver high-quality recruitment services, Salt may monitor, record, and retain communications across the following channels:

  • Other digital communications via our platforms

These may be recorded for:

  • Training & Development – to improve service delivery
  • Quality Assurance – to ensure accuracy and satisfaction

  • Dispute Resolution – to clarify misunderstandings if they arise

All communications are handled securely in line with data protection laws and Salt’s internal protocols. If you do not wish to be recorded, inform your Salt contact at the start of the interaction, though opting out may limit certain services.

3CX Messaging Terms & Conditions

In some regions, Salt uses the 3CX communication platform to contact candidates and clients via voice, SMS, and other messaging formats. If you are in a location where 3CX is used, by interacting with us through this platform, you may receive messages such as:

  • Interview and scheduling updates
  • Availability checks
  • Job opportunities
  • Application follow-ups
  • Account and service notifications

Retention of Data

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. We securely delete your personal data when it’s no longer needed, based on its nature, sensitivity, risk, purpose, alternatives, and legal obligations.

For candidates, we consider our relationship with you as long-term, aimed at supporting your career across multiple roles and assignments. As such, we may retain your data beyond a single placement if we reasonably expect continued engagement with you.

Data Security

Salt implements industry-standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. These include secure servers, encryption, and access controls.

Non-UK and Non-EEA Personal Data

Personal data collected outside the UK or EEA may be transferred internationally within the Salt group, to potential employers, service providers, or authorities to fulfil our services and comply with laws.
