Boutique Retail Assistant

Step into a well-loved woman’s fashion boutique that is proudly Kiwi-owned and has been offering a tailored shopping experience for over 30 years. Located in the heart of Ponsonby, this destination store is known for its curated mix of elevated clothing and accessories featuring premium international and local brands.

About the Role:

• $30 per hour
• Part-Time Permanent Friday and Saturday 10am – 4pm
• Generous staff buying privileges

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be the welcoming face of the boutique, providing personalised styling advice and recommendations. Building lasting relationships with customer through attentive service and driving sales through confident up selling and brand storytelling. And of course, with any boutique environment maintaining a beautifully presented store.

• Deliver personalised styling advice that makes customers feel fabulous
• Share brand stories and inspire purchases through confident up selling
• Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back
• Keep the boutique immaculate and visually appealing
• Work alongside the owner who is deeply passionate about fashion and community

About You:

You’ll understand the world of boutique retail, have a natural eye for styling, and be passionate about fashion and quality, which go hand and hand. You will appreciate that every client is unique which requires you to deliver a personalised service to everyone. You’ll welcome the opportunity to be surrounded by gorgeous designer clothing and accessories.

• Proven experience in boutique or lifestyle fashion retail
• A natural eye for styling and strong sales ability
• Confidence working independently and taking initiative
• Passion for fashion and connecting with people
