Business Director (Global Media Agency)

Our client, a global media agency network, is seeking a seasoned Business Director to join their growing leadership team in Saudi Arabia. This role will play a critical part in driving client growth, leading senior relationships, and shaping strategic media output across key accounts in the market.

The Role

As Business Director, you will take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile clients, acting as the senior strategic and commercial lead. You will work closely with regional and local leadership to ensure best-in-class media thinking, strong financial performance, and the development of high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead senior client relationships and act as the primary strategic partner
• Own the overall account performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and delivery
• Drive integrated media strategy across digital, offline, data, and performance channels
• Identify and convert new business and organic growth opportunities within existing accounts
• Partner with planning, performance, and activation teams to ensure excellence in execution
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior team members and future leaders
• Ensure governance, compliance, and operational best practice across accounts
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders on cross-market initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience within a media agency environment
• Proven experience operating at Business Director / Account Director / Client Lead level
• Strong understanding of the KSA media landscape and regional market dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex client relationships
• Commercially savvy with experience owning P&L or revenue targets
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within a global or multinational agency network
• Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential
