The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Product Manager to lead and scale a brand-new card programme. You’ll own the roadmap, work closely with a sponsoring bank, manage BINs, oversee card issuance, and help build a best-in-class digital banking and payments experience.
What You’ll Own

Define strategy and roadmap for card issuing, mobile payments, tokenisation, and digital wallet features.

Manage card programme operations: BIN allocation, card production, stock, distribution, and controls.

Work with the bank, networks, and vendors to ensure compliance, security, and smooth operations.

Drive integration with processors, gateways, fraud tools, and mobile wallet platforms.

Guide mobile app requirements and improve user experience across card features.

Lead agile delivery: writing requirements, prioritising backlogs, and coordinating releases.

Optimise performance by analysing adoption, revenue, authorisation rates, and customer feedback.
What You Bring
-
5+ years in product management within payments, card issuing, or mobile banking.

Experience running or launching card programmes (including BIN management).

Strong understanding of payment rails, tokenisation, PCI DSS, and fraud mitigation.

Knowledge of FICA, POPIA, and NPS Act compliance.

Confident working with banks, processors, and third-party vendors.

Skilled in Agile delivery with a customer-centric mindset and strong commercial acumen.
