Cyber Security Consultant

Salt is currently hiring a Cyber Security Consultant for a client of ours in Utrecht.

This is freelance, so required to have kvk/zzp and is paying 110 euros an hour.

This is what you are going to do
Further define and roll out Vulnerability Response in ServiceNow: processes, data flows, and automations.
Develop an implementation plan for Security Incident Response (SIR) in ServiceNow.
Gather and define requirements and user stories by facilitating design and workshop sessions with stakeholders.
Translate requirements into technical designs, configurations, and development tasks.
Develop integrations with external tools (vulnerability scanners).
Configure and extend SecOps functionality (including playbooks, orchestration, workflows, and notifications).
Technical implementation in collaboration with the platform team and oversee testing/delivery.

The Green Cyber ​​Support Team is part of Cyber ​​Security Operations, the technical cybersecurity department of IT where expertise in the field of cybersecurity comes together. Within Cyber ​​Security Operations, various specialized teams work closely together to increase clients digital resilience. The Green Cyber ​​Support Team focuses on supporting DevOps teams and digital services, and helps practically integrate security into systems, processes, and projects. Within this environment, you will collaborate with fellow TISOs, security specialists, security architects, DevOps teams, platform engineers, and management teams. Together, you ensure that security controls are not only designed but also effectively implemented and applied.

These are the requirements
A completed university or higher professional education in the ICT domain or a comparable level of knowledge and skills.
Mid- to senior experience with the ServiceNow SecOps module, including Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response.
Ruime ervaring met ServiceNow development: scripting (JavaScript/Glide), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, UI Actions, ACLs.
Experience with writing user stories and functional designs.
Results-oriented, independent, and pragmatic-you can switch gears and prioritize quickly.
Language: Dutch and English.
Location: preferably in the Netherlands/European time zone; remote possible in consultation
Certification: ServiceNow certifications in SecOps are a plus, but not a requirement.
