Salt is currently hiring a Data Analyst for a client of ours in Amsterdam.

The role is for freelancers with zzp/kvk and is paying around 100 euros an hour.

We’re looking for a Data Analyst II to drive data-informed decisions across cross-functional product teams. You’ll own analytics end-to-end-from defining problems and designing experiments to delivering clear insights that influence product and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets using Python and PySpark to generate actionable insights
  • Design and evaluate experiments (A/B tests, holdouts) and measure true business impact
  • Apply statistical and causal inference methods to avoid biased conclusions
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams on decision making
  • Build scalable, reproducible reports, dashboards, and analyses
  • Proactively identify data issues and improvement opportunities
  • Mentor junior analysts and uphold analytics best practices

Requirements

  • Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills
  • Solid foundation in statistics and experiment design
  • Understanding of causal inference (e.g. bias, confounding, CUPED, DiD)
  • Experience with large datasets and data warehouses
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
