The Company:

A leading UK retailer is seeking a Data Quality Manager to join their digital and data transformation journey. With significant investment in the data and analytics team, this role will be pivotal in establishing the foundation for clean and reliable datasets.

This newly created position offers the opportunity to be a key player in the expanding customer data team.

As Data Quality Manager you will:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the data quality strategy and operational framework, including continuous mapping exercises to understand the customer data landscape.
• Supporting the definition and execution of our migration strategy for the Customer Team to new cloud-based analytics platform.
• You will be responsible for working on an overhaul of the current database – creating a ‘single version of truth’ datasets by combining multiple data sources
• Work on the identification and improvement of customer data, mitigating data quality issues at all stages of the data lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Very strong SQL experience
• You’ve had some experience using cloud based analytical platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake and Google BigQuery.
• Experienced working with large datasets
• Experienced working with customer data
