We are partnered with a leading digital marketing agency who are going through an exciting data transformation programme and are now looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team in central London.
This will be a business facing role working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and then deliver those by building models (using LookML). They have some of the biggest brands globally as their clients and you’ll be working closely with these customers to deliver BI solutions in Looker.
Key Responsibilities:
· Hands on development across the business’ core language (Python, SQL, LookML)
· Be part of the design of big data warehouses and advise on engineering/architecture decisions
· Deployment of data models to production & pre-production systems
· Be the go to technical expert for Looker within the business, provide technical coaching to the end clients
· Design analytical solutions and dashboarding
To be successful in this role they are looking for someone with experience of:
· SQL programming
· Translating business requirements to technical solutions
· Looker
· Cloud data warehouses – BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift
· Python programming would be a bonus
