Data Engineer (Azure, Power BI, SQL)

Salt are partnered with an amazing retail & e-commerce brand who are going through an exciting period of growth which requires some digital and data transformation to keep up with the pace of their sales!

They are looking for a Data Engineer who can help build a scalable, reliable and high impact solution which helps the business become more data driven and deliver actionable insight. You’ll be working closely with the CTO and Data Scientist’s within the business to help promptly deliver this solution with the use of modern data engineering tools and technologies.

You will be:

· Collecting, transforming and maintaining large quantities of data

· Build, support and improve the data infrastructure

· Solving data quality issues

· Focus on building and improving a self service BI solution in Power BI

· Deliver ETL across data platforms including Big Query & MS Azure

· Maintain data lake solutions

· Writing great code and focus on database automation

It would be very useful to have the following experience, but these are not all essential:

· Background in data engineering with strong SQL skills

· ETL pipeline development experience

· Experience with cloud solutions – ideally MS Azure or GCP

· Strong experience of Power BI dashboard development
