Salary Package – £100,000 to £110,000 + Benefits

I’m recruiting for a Data Engineering Lead on behalf of a payment provider backed by one of the biggest high street banks in the UK – after making it through their Tech Accelerator Program back in 2018, they’ve grown to 200+ employees and have an incredibly exciting roadmap in store!

As a Data Engineering Lead working here, you would be driving value for the customer through modelling, sourcing and data transformation. You’ll be working closely with core technology and architecture teams to deliver strategic data solutions, while driving Agile and DevOps adoption in the delivery of data engineering.

They are looking for someone with commercial use in the below areas:

• Excellent understanding of modern code development practices and cloud data solutions and principles
• Experience of ETL technical design, automated data quality testing, QA and documentation, data warehousing, data modelling and data wrangling
• Extensive experience of RDMS, ETL pipelines, Python, Hadoop and SQL, Pyspark and Synapse
• Experience of Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks is highly desirable
• Experience of maintaining ML models, ML OPs Pipelines and model factory
• An awareness of de-centralized data architectures

For this Data Engineering Lead role, they are paying up to £110,000 + 10% guaranteed cash allowance, 10% pension (non-contributory), excellent bonuses, 38 days holiday and 12 months parental leave.
