Salary Package – £70,000 to £75,000 + Equity, 10% Bonus and Fully remote if needed
Location – London (Fully remote)

I’m currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a UK-based company which is redefining tower performance with Artificial Intelligence.

As a Data Engineer here you will lead on data engineering projects, build, and extend their data architecture and pipelines, and provide expertise and best practices on data and ML engineering, working closely with their data scientists to design and productionise complex algorithms, making them robust, scalable and performant in their production infrastructure.

They are considering applicants with a range of skills and backgrounds. Some of the things they are looking for include:

• 4-6 years of proven experience as a data engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices such as CI/CD and IaaC (Github Actions and Terraform)
• Strong understanding of data storage and “big data” platforms (Postgres, Timescale and DBT)
• Experience with batch and stream data processing (Prefect, Kinesis and Spark)
• Familiarity with data science tools, concepts and techniques (Pandas, numpy, sklearn)
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, UNIX and shell scripting
• Some experience with data visualisation or BI tools is desirable
• Python and SQL expertise

This is an exciting and pivotal time for the company, and their vision is hugely ambitious. It’s an ideal time to join the team and help build a unique, market defining platform. They are still in start up phase with around 35 people in the company so this role will be varied, fast moving and high-impact, requiring wide ownership and a learning-first, independent approach to problem-solving.

Salary for this role is up £75,000 + Equity, 10% Bonus, fully remote, 25 days holiday, and solid budget for home office and personal development.
