Salt have partnered with a New Zealand’s largest healthcare organisation who are looking for 2X Eligibility Revenue Officers for their Greenlane and Manukau branch.
About the Role:
- Office based role either in Greenlane or Manukau
- Parking for $6 per day at each site
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- 12 month temporary assignment starting ASAP
This role is responsible for assessing patient eligibility for publicly funded healthcare services, reviewing immigration and residency information, and issuing invoices where required.
Working across Auckland’s hospital network, you’ll help reduce a significant backlog by accurately processing eligibility assessments, maintaining patient records across multiple systems, and creating invoices if the patient is not eligible for coverage.
Day to day you will:
- Review patient records to assess eligibility for publicly funded healthcare.
- Process eligibility assessments and update information across internal systems.
- Prepare and submit documentation to Immigration New Zealand for verification.
- Determine what non-eligible patients will have to pay and generate invoices for the AR team
- Work through high-volume reports to support backlog reduction across Auckland hospitals.
About You:
You’re a detail-focused administrator who enjoys process-driven work and takes pride in getting things right the first time.
You’ll be proactive, comfortable working independently, and confident following established procedures while managing a high volume of information accurately.
You will bring:
- Proven administration experience, ideally within healthcare, with an understanding of patient admissions, discharges, and hospital processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing eligibility information and updating patient records.
- Intermediate MS Excel and Word skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise competing tasks.
- Comfortable working autonomously with a mostly remote team
