Head of Finance (Relocation to Bali)

Salt has partnered with a scaling, international sustainable fashion brand on the search for a Head of Finance to lead financial strategy and bring strategic insight to its next phase of growth.

Offering a rare opportunity to combine a high-impact leadership role who can bring clarity, rigour, and insight to support rapid growth and long-term profitability. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team, shaping decisions and building a best-in-class finance function. You must be comfortable with giving strategy and support to commercial decision of a scale up business, also be able to be hands on and coach and develop your staff towards best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy and partner with the CEO to drive business performance
• Own finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls
• Manage and coach a small team
• Oversee tax, compliance, and external financial relationships
• Lead budgeting and forecasting to track and improve performance
• Oversee payroll and partner across teams to drive performance
• Provide financial guidance to support decision-making
• Improve financial systems, reporting, and scalability
• Drive efficiency through better data and automation

About You

• Proven finance leader with 7+ years’ experience, including at least 2 years’ in a senior leadership role
• Must have CA/CPA qualifications
• Strong e-commerce / start-up or scale up background in retail or similar industries (highly regarded)
• Business Partnering skills across the business
• People management skills
• Commercial, data-driven, and hands-on
• Passion for working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Up and coming Financial Leader would be the ideal fit as the business grows.
