Ever wanted an HR role where no two days are the same?

One minute you’re onboarding a new team member, the next you’re solving a retail issue, checking in with store staff, running training sessions, helping operations stay on track and making sure the culture of the business stays strong while everyone else is running around trying to keep up.

This is not a corporate “hide behind policies and send emails all day” HR role. They need someone who loves people, thrives in fast paced environments and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved across stores, production and head office.

You’ll oversee around 70 staff members across retail, production and HQ while helping drive culture, staff engagement, recruitment, training and day to day people operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Visiting stores and building relationships with teams
• Handling day to day people and operational challenges
• Recruitment, onboarding and staff support
• Managing training programmes and development
• Keeping track of absenteeism, illnesses and staff wellbeing
• Supporting retail and production teams on the ground
• Ensuring labour law compliance and HR best practice
• Being the go to person when literally anything happens

What they’re looking for:

* HR experience within FMCG, retail or production
* Strong understanding of South African labour laws
* Someone energetic, hands on and people focused
* A relationship builder who can work with everyone from store staff to management
* Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
* Someone who can balance structure with personality
