Content Producer / Fluent in Russian/ 1 year FTC

Content Producer – Must be fluent in both Russian & English

1 years fixed term contract – starting asap

Salt is currently partnering with a Communications agency that is on the hunt for a UK-based Russian-speaking Content Producer to oversee a suite of Content for a brand new project.

Reporting into their Content Director, you will be responsible for finding and selecting stories. You will commission long-form written articles and social posts, and manage a small team creating the content and overseeing the work creatively & editorially. You’ll be responsible for producing key high-quality videos on different topics, scripting the videos, finding contributors and archive footage, overseeing remote crews, working with animators, and edit the videos.

You will combine substantial journalistic experience with a creative and innovative approach to content production. Ideally, you will already have held a senior role in a news or content organisation, with editorial responsibility and experience of managing the creative work of others.

Key responsibilities:

· Provide editorial and journalistic oversight of the project, ensuring work meets the editorial guidelines and ethical standards.
· Manage the creative workflow of the project and oversee the work of the project’s creative team.
· Find and select journalistic stories.
· Commission and edit long-form written content from their partners.
· Come up with creative ideas for videos and social content.
· Oversee the work of designers, animators, editors, and social content producers.
· Write powerful treatments that bring ideas to life and suggest innovative creative approaches to maximise impact
· Write engaging scripts with personality that convey complex information in a simple and clear manner.
· Take ownership of schedules for your projects and ensure assets are delivered to a high quality and on time
· Produce and edit a number of short videos simultaneously.
· Ensure scripts are accurate, rigorous, fact checked, and strategically appropriate.
· Participate in internal and client reviews, communicating creative vision and proposals effectively.
· Oversee the production of several pieces of content at the same time.

Requirements:
· Must be based in the UK (preferably London)
· Fluent written and spoken English and Russian is imperative for this role!
· Experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight of others.
· Several years’ experience of video production, with numerous scripting, producing and editing experience.
· High level of creativity and ability to come up with attention-grabbing creative ideas.
· Experience dealing with archive research and motion graphics.
· Excellent communication and people management skills.
· Solid experience writing clear, attention-grabbing scripts.
· You must be able to take complex research and turn it into compelling video ideas, identifying the most effective hooks for a story and suggesting creative and engaging treatments to appeal to the target audiences in different countries.
