Category Manager – FMCG

Salary £45-55,000 + benefits

London Office – 2 days a week

We are working with a fantastic FMCG brand with a strong market presence in their category and have plans to double the size of their European office in the next 5 years. They are looking for a Category Manager to lead the Category team, consisting currently of 4 direct reports.

The most suitable candidate will have strong experience in FMCG Category Management, will have team management experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and oversee the Category Strategy Development plan, looking at areas for growth and consider potential risks.
• Work on Product development from concept to launch.
• Alongside the broader team, plan and manage the market intelligence to understand the consumer preferences and landscape.
• Work with the Brand and Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotions for new products.
• Work with the Sales team to implement plans and promotional activities.

Key skills required:

• Currently working as Category Manager.
• Team Management experience.
• FMCG experience.
• Strong communication and relationships skills.
• Analytically minded.
